Ranikhet is a hill station in Uttarakhand State, northern India. It’s known for its views of the Himalayas. Hundreds of bells adorn Jhula Devi Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. Fruit trees grow on the terraced orchards of Chaubatia Gardens, with views of peaks including Nanda Devi. Mahatma Gandhi stayed in a hut, Gandhi Kuti, in nearby Tarikhet village during the independence struggle. Almora is a municipal board and a cantonment town in the Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is the administrative headquarters of Almora district . Nainital is a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of India’s Uttarakhand state, at an elevation of roughly 2,000m. Formerly a British hill station, it’s set around Nainital Lake, a popular boating site with Naina Devi Hindu Temple on its north shore. A cable car runs to Snow View observation point (at 2,270m), with vistas over the town and mountains including Nanda Devi, Uttarakhand’s highest peak.

- Chaubatia Orchards Famous for its apples, plums, peaches and apricots, the Chaubatia Orchards located in the laps of Himalayan ranges also offer panoramic views of the peaks of Nanda Devi, Nilkanth, Nandaghunti and Trishul.
- Jhula Devi Temple Built in 8th century, the temple dedicated to Goddess Durga is known for its cluster of elegantly designed bells. It is believed that the temple is wish fulfilling. The Ram temple located close by also draws many people.
- Kalika 6 km from the mesmerising hill station of Ranikhet in Uttarakhand is a small town called Kalika. The town is surrounded by thick, lush green forests and snow-capped mountains. It is famous for the Kalika Temple and the golf course.
- Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum Established by Kumaon Regiment of Indian Army in the 1970s, the museum houses war artifacts of historical importance, especially belonging to the Garhwal and Kumaon regiments.

- Chitai Temple A famous temple of Lord Gollu, another name for Lord Shiva, the Chitai temple was built during the Chand regime.
- Jageshwar Jageshwar is believed to be the home of one among the twelve Jyothirlingas. Surabhi and Nandini rivers flow through this place that has 124 temples built in medieval architectural style, and heavily influenced by Buddhist style craftsmanship.
- Kasar Devi Temple Kasar devi is one of the famous temple perched on the hill Kashya. It is a village situated near Almora i.e in Uttarakhand. Village got its name after the ancient and historical temple Kasar devi temple. It is believed that Swami Vivekanand visited Kasar devi in 1890's.
- Katarmal Sun Temple Being the second most important Sun temple, this 800 year old temple has one main temple and 45 smaller shrines.
