Kullu Manali

Kullu or Kulu is the capital town of the Kullu district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley about 10 kilometres north of the airport at Bhuntar. Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

: Bhrigu Lake A blazing blue Brighu Lake sits snug between two high-altitude ridges towards the east of Rohtang Pass. One of the many glacial lakes in Kullu Valley, this lake makes for a perfect weekend trek and is also well- suited for families.

: Bijli Mahadev Temple This is the one temple in Kullu that you cannot miss. From a legend where lightning strikes, to a huge structure and surreal surroundings with some of the best views and sceneries of Kullu, the temple is enchanting in every bit.

: Chandrakhani Pass and the Parvati Valley At a flattering height of 3600 meters, nestled in the Parvati Valley, the Chandrakhani pass is a favorite for those who seek natural beauty as well as those in search of adventure with mountains and valleys in the backdrop.

: Friendship Peak One of the trekkable summits in the Indian Himalayan region, the Friendship peak looming at an elevation of 5,289 meters in the Pir Panjal range in Himachal Pradesh is a trekker's heaven.

: Great Himalayan National Park Great Himalayan National Park, situated in Himachal Pradesh has four valleys named Sainj Valley, Tirthan Valley, Jiwa Nal Valley and Parvati Valley. They are all popular for their natural and scenic beauty. The park has exotic species of flora and fauna. The park was established in 1984.

: Hadimba Temple Hadimba temple, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, is a peaceful place surrounded by towering deodar trees. The temple is dedicated to Hidimba, the wife of Bhima, one of the five Pandava prince from the great Indian epic Mahabharata.
